Ho chiesto a Francesco di approfondire l’area di influenza di Dugom Rulli e di quali motivazioni hanno spinto l’Azienda nella direzione della catalogazione 3D.
In quale settore operate e quali possono essere considerati gli elementi principali della vostra produzione?
Fondata nel 1938, da circa 80 anni DugomRulli è specializzata nella produzione di RULLI per impianti di movimentazione e trasporto continuo, tipicamente da una fase di lavorazione/stoccaggio a quella successiva (trasporti interni – materials handling).
I rulli, in qualità di componenti per macchine ed impianti trasportatori (conveyors), sono impiegati in quasi tutti i settori produttivi.
A seconda delle caratteristiche dei materiali movimentati, si classificano in due grandi categorie:
- TRASPORTO DI MATERIALE ALLA RINFUSA (Bulk handling conveyors);
- TRASPORTO DI CARICHI ISOLATI (Unit handling conveyors).
TRASPORTO DI MATERIALE ALLA RINFUSA
Viene effettuato mediante nastri trasportatori (belt conveyors) che contengono e trasportano materiale incoerente (sabbia, carbone, minerali, cereali, ecc.).
I rulli hanno la funzione di sostenere e movimentare il nastro trasportatore dal punto di carico a quello di scarico, una distanza che può variare da pochi metri a diversi chilometri .
Tra i molti settori di impiego, i più significativi sono:
- le miniere
- le cave
- i porti
- le acciaierie
- i magazzini di cereali
- gli zuccherifici
- le industrie chimiche
- le centrali termoelettriche
- gli impianti di selezione e riciclaggio dei rifiuti urbani
- gli impianti di betonaggio.
Queste attività si svolgono prevalentemente all’aperto, spesso in condizioni ambientali difficili e in funzione delle quali i rulli devono possedere caratteristiche prestazionali all’altezza. Mi riferisco ad esempio alla robustezza e alla protezione dei cuscinetti, caratteristiche essenziali per garantire una durata compatibile alle esigenze industriali – fino anche alle 50.000 ore di funzionamento effettivo.
TRASPORTO DI CARICHI ISOLATI
In questo caso, i trasportatori a rulli (roller conveyors) possono essere folli o comandati.
I primi, consentono il movimento dei carichi per gravità o a spinta.
I secondi, ricevono e trasmettono il moto mediante catene o cinghie, movimentando il carico.
Questa tipologia di movimentazione è tipica nei collegamenti tra diverse fasi di lavorazione, eventualmente anche all’interno della stessa macchina, negli accumuli di fine linea e nei magazzini.
Precisione, scorrevolezza e capacità di carico sono caratteristiche essenziali per un buon funzionamento degli impianti. Nel caso di carichi molto elevati o di forti accelerazioni ci preoccupiamo inoltre di garantire tutte le verifiche a fatica sulle strutture dei rulli.
All’interno di questa famiglia di prodotti sono presenti anche i rulli utilizzati nell’Automotive, nei processi di fabbricazione degli autoveicoli.
Nel caso specifico, questi rulli sono utilizzati su apposite rulliere per movimentare gli chassis in fase di saldatura, verniciatura, ecc.

Precisando meglio quanto detto prima, sono due gli strumenti che il produttore di componenti deve offrire al suo cliente:

E’ un’esigenza che sarà sempre più sentita quanto più crescerà l’importanza della fase progettuale rispetto all’esecuzione del progetto. L’efficacia di un Ufficio Tecnico non si misura più solo in base alla qualità del suo lavoro, ma anche in base al tempo necessario per il suo compimento.
